Grundy Day Centre and Pinfold Lane Day Centre merged at the end of 2021 and provided a great opportunity for us to create a building that puts people who use our services at the heart of its design.
We specifically designed Grundy Hub to support people over 50 looking to meet new people and take part in a wide range of activities in a safe and stimulating environment, as well as to support people living with dementia.

If activities are not for you, we have areas within the Hub that you can use as you please, whether you like reading or completing jigsaws, watching the world go by or just relaxing in a safe, friendly, comfortable environment with our Get Social offer.
You may wish to come to Grundy Hub for a number of reasons, for example:
Pinfold Suite offers variety and specialist care and has been designed to ensure it is suitable for people who have more advanced care needs or require a secure environment to ensure their safety. We’ve completed extensive work to ensure that the outside space is safe, stimulating and suitable. People who use Pinfold Suite will have access to all the facilities within the Hub. Support and advice is also available to families, carers and loved ones. Read more about Pinfold Suite and its design here.
“Thank you for making me feel so welcome and making my life so happy.”
“Thank you so much for the care & kindness to my mum. She loved coming to the centre and thought all the staff were wonderful.”
“Grundy Hub is my lifeline; I couldn’t be without it.”
Grundy Hub Get Social is accessible on a self-funded basis or as an assessed need by a social worker.
