Victoria is part of our day service for adults with a learning disability and the centre can support up to 10 people on any one day.
We take a person centred approach to care and will support people to develop skills and knowledge to help them to both express themselves as a unique individual and to feel confident within their local community.
We can support people to take part in a wide range of activities, either inside our bases or out in the community. Here are some examples of the regular activities people take part in:
Cookery skills for pleasure, home and personal development
Arts and crafts
Health and lifestyle – gym, swimming, walking, movement to music, Wheels for All, toning table
Multi sensory stimulation/relaxation
College and education support
Volunteering and work based assessments and training
We also work with people to develop an individually tailored support plan with appropriate risk assessments. This makes sure we offer a service that is respectful and meets every person's identified needs. This may include support with the following:
