International Day of Older People

We celebrate, connect and enable people to contribute in Bury all year round.

Older people play an integral part in our communities, as workers, carers, volunteers, activists and community connectors and International Day of Older People is a great day to celebrate older people and highlight the vital part they can play in making Bury a better place to be.

This year, we're trialling a volunteer drivers scheme to help more people get to where they want or need to be. If you'd like to be involved, click on the volunteering link below to find out more.
