Gillian - I love going to work

Gillian loves her job, which she began in 2007, so we asked her to tell us more about it - 

I work at Summerseat Garden centre. I have worked there for 12 years, working 4 hours per week.

I love going to work because it allows me to meet different people, staff and customers. It helps me to plan my time due to having a work routine. I enjoy helping customers when they need assistance.

The staff are brilliant with me and very supportive. It also pays me a little extra money each week which helps with my social activities.

Gillian also helped us at a recruitment event in February 2020, where interviewees chatted to her to write a care plan as part of their assessment.
