Liz and Gill, who use our Supported Living service, have been volunteering for Jigsaw Social Group.
Their roles involve going on lots of trips to places like:
Their job is to make sure fellow members are comfortable and have all they need during these trips.
I have more free time on my hands so I want to help the members on day trips dealing with their money, helping them to find the toilets or any information they need.
It makes me happy, helping the members to stay safe and enjoy their activities. I get to see the different places and do things I wouldn’t normally do. I have made some good friends in Jigsaw and look forward to seeing everybody.
I want to gain more experience and help fellow members when they need assistance.
It makes me feel brilliant because I’m doing something constructive with my life and helping people less fortunate than myself.
